Dear Joel, having accidentally read your post, I would like to express my opinion on ublox. You wrote that &quot;their chipsets are designed for amateurs,&quot; but in our experience, we have not seen any problems with quality, speed, and accuracy. It was excellent, especially with the latest solution from eltehs, which uses ublox chipsets: https://gnss.store/neo-m8p-gnss-modules/72-elt0060.html (Everything works like Swiss clockwork).
Dear Joel, time does not stand still and perhaps your opinion has changed? It would be very interesting to know. If you have time, please respond. Thank you.]]></description>

Hi Jon-Petter,

I also wanted to say thanks for the info. Have you had a chance to work with the mosaic-X5 yet? If so, what are your thoughts?

Thanks,
Jason]]></description>

					<description><![CDATA[Hi,
I&#039;ve tested the following recent additions to the low cost dual frequency GNSS receiver market:
Navspark NS-HP-GN2 (Skytraq PX1122R)
-Current firmware limits the number of satellites (6 per constellation), poor RTK performance, so far not recommended. May change with future firmware releases tho...
DATAGNSS (Allystar HD9310)
-raw measurements perform better than F9P, so far tested mostly for PPP and as RTK base but it wouldn&#039;t surprise me if the RTK even outperformed F9P.

Awaiting delivery of a Septentrio mosaic-X5 development kit, not the cheapest, but I expect very good performance based on my experience with Septentrio&#039;s surveying equipment.

F9P is definitely the best value for money so far tho, I own three units and it has become the benchmark to which I compare any other receiver, highly recommended.]]></description>

					<description><![CDATA[Hi Roby,

I think Topcon is another big name in Ag or survey market, on a par with Trimble. Do you have any thought or comment about Topcon?]]></description>

Hi Jorge,

Wish you success with the setup, but I&#039;ve no experience surveying.

					<description><![CDATA[Hello and greetings from Portugal.
I&#039;ve just ordered from ardusimple a simplertk2b basic starter kit, which will come with a bluetooth module, so that I can easily connect it to a smartphone. I&#039;m planning to receive public RTK data over internet and try to make some &quot;centimeter level accuracy surveying&quot;. As far as I understand I will have to get an app to get the rtk data and send it from the smartphone to the board. On the same time I will be collecting data with a different app.
Any tips or hints about the best apps and methodology to get the job done will be much appreciated.

Kind regards,
Jorge Fernandes]]></description>
